The acquisition brings the value of DIM's Atlanta investment portfolio to $30 million, according to AJ Belt, chief operating officer of Fort Lauderdale, FL-based DBR Asset Management LLC which negotiated the Buford deal for DIM. "We expect to be handling several additional business transactions for them within the next 18 months," Belt says. He says the Dutch firm has "strategic (growth) plans for the future."
DBR found the Buford property for DIM and handled all of the due diligence period. DBR will manage the Publix-anchored shopping center along with DIM's other Atlanta properties. Cummings, Horsley & Maddox Inc. represented Golden Park LLC.
