Also, Princeton Dance & Theater Studio Inc. has expanded its occupancy to 5,219 sf. The tenant had entered into a 10-year lease when it opened its studio here last fall.
And Shawnee Chemical Co. took 2,650 sf in a relocation from Plainsboro, NJ, while Foxcom Americas Inc., a fiber optics company, signed a new lease for 2,430 sf. Matthew Seltzer of Cushman & Wakefield was the outside broker in both the Shawnee and Foxcom signings.
Built in 1987, Princeton Forrestal Center consists of 320,000 sf of office space and 175,000 sf of retail and mixed use space, as well as a 294-key Westin hotel and conference center. Last year, the Florham Park, NJ-based Gale Co. launched a major repositioning program of the asset, focusing primarily on its long-struggling retail component.
