The Atrium Companies moved into its new office/flex space on June 15, according to Greg Caggainnello, senior vice president with Reckson. The 710 Bridgeport Ave. building totals 452,414 sf of office/flex space. The building's other major tenant is Perkin-Elmer, which leases approximately 200,000 sf of space at the property. With the Atrium lease deal, the building has approximately 125,000 sf of space available for lease. The space had been occupied by watchmaker Timex until about a year-and-a-half ago.

Caggainnello said that Reckson has seen "good activity" on the vacant space at the property, but at the moment has no additional lease deals to report. Joel Hausman of Colonial Realty of Fairfield served as Reckson's exclusive broker.

Recently, Reckson reported that it had negotiated approximately 100,000 sf in lease deals during the first quarter of this year at its properties in Connecticut. Among its more significant deals included renewals with AT Kearney Inc., a global management consulting firm at its 800,000-sf Landmark Square complex in Stamford and with Poseidon Resources, a firm that focuses on seawater desalination and membrane water treatment and reuse, at 1055 Washington Blvd. in downtown Stamford.
