John Heagy and John Robbins, Atlanta-based executives of Hines, will probably assume more administrative responsibilities as the company restructures its Southeast region, the spokesman says. Voyles, a former partner at Alston & Bird, has led Hines' efforts in developing Perimeter Summit and Overton Park.
A well-known name in Southeast development circles, Voyles' most recent major accomplishment was completing a 15-year, 400,000-sf lease with the locally based King & Spalding law firm at Hines' 41-story, 625,000-sf tower at 1180 Peachtree St. Area brokers tell GlobeSt.com the estimated aggregate value of that lease is $156 million based on an estimated effective rent of $26 per sf. The lease would be the largest of its kind in Downtown office leasing annals, brokers tell GlobeSt.com.
