Seller TJ Properties of Arlington had the 1001 Mitchell St. building up for lease when Arlington Health Care's broker, Kristina Andersen of Ebby Halliday's local office, came knocking on the door of the four-tenant building. "More leases were rolling and it worked out for a partial owner/user," says the seller's broker, Theron Bryant of SCM Real Estate Services in Arlington.
Bryant tells GlobeSt.com that the new owner will overhaul the building and set up a group oral surgery practice on the first floor's 3,400 sf, bumping any existing tenants to the second floor, which currently has 1,700 sf vacant.
TJ Properties owned the 23-year-old building and its sister property for five years. Bryant says the local owner is holding tight to the other building near the University of Texas at Arlington.
