Travis Land with NAI Houston tells GlobeSt.com that the brick company wanted to stay in the immediate area, but also wanted to upgrade and expand. He says the operation got about 10% more industrial space with the move. He and John Ferruzzo, also with NAI Houston, represented the paving contractor, headquartered at 7620 Washington Ave. in Houston.

According to Land, Western Brick backfilled space recently vacated by a tenant now in bankruptcy. The Denver-based ProLogis used in-house broker, Jeremy Giles, to broker the deal. The building's quoted rent is 35 cents per sf gross.
