At least six other locations have not yet been named by the company. Walgreen, the nation's largest drug store chain, already has 138 locations around the state.
Nationally, Metro Detroit was the fourth-largest drugstore market, with $5.6 billion in sales last year, according to the Chain Drug Review, a trade publication. CVS is the Detroit area's largest drug store chain, with some 212 stores.
