Saddled between Farmwell and Waxpool Roads, the property became part of ISA's portfolio six years ago and is currently home to two new baseball fields used by the Dulles Little League. The planned school campus would have replaced one of ISA's two campuses in the Fairfax, VA area.
The plan had been met with a great deal of resistance from Loudoun County residents. In a prepared statement academy officials explain they were pleased to turn down lucrative offers for the land in order to sell parcel to the county for educational purposes.
