The newest tenants, all occupying stores in the 2,000- to 2,800-sf range, include a new branch of Washington Mutual Bank, Hunan Garden Restaurant, a Subway sandwich shop, a UPS store and Tan-Attic, a tanning salon. Others are Elite Nail and Hair, Cricket Children's Wear, Eva's Card's and Gifts and Ladies Workout Express.
According to Michael Halibej, president of the firm that bears his name, Optical Center Inc. is already expanding its space at Ridge Plaza. And Legacy Audio and Video is already doubling its initial lease to some 4,000 sf.
Halibej Realty worked with cooperating brokers on two of the new leases. Jeffrey Realty of North Plainfield represented Subway, while Welco of New Rochelle, NY acted for Washington Mutual Bank. Leases for CVS and Blockbuster were handled separately by Eagle Realty and Winick Realty of New York, respectively.
