Reynolds & Reynolds Co., based in Kettering, OH, moved into 2951 Great Southwest Parkway in a 90-day decision that had three locations, all in the same vicinity, on the short list, Buddy Turner with Dillon Corporate Services/Cresa Partners Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. The long-term lease, he says, is "a straight-up office/warehouse deal" that has turned on lights in a 296,800-sf building darkened a year ago by Bridgestone/Firestone LLC. Owned by AMB Property Corp. of San Francisco, the structure's quoted rent is $2.90 per sf triple net for the 138,177-sf empty block.
Turner says Reynolds & Reynolds, a software and services provider for the automotive retail industry, took about the same amount of space for sales and distribution that it vacated along Avenue J. In October 2003, Reynolds & Reynolds shut down the Avenue J automotive forms manufacturing facility and shifted the 65 jobs to its Celina, OH plant. Tom Kuhlmann of Lincoln Property Co. in Dallas represented the building owner.
