As it does in all its markets, Goodman Distributors Inc., a supplier for the construction industry, has multiple locations to keep inventory close to builders. Goodman will move in within 30 days to 2010 Redbud Dr. in the McKinney Central Business Park, lighting space that's been empty for 18 months, John Lancaster with Dallas-based TIG Real Estate Services tells GlobeSt.com. Two months ago, Goodman struck a similar deal for a third location in Phoenix.
Lancaster says the HVAC supplier "was pretty well focused on our building" to set up another location in North Texas. Owned by local investors, the two-building industrial development has a quoted rate ranging from $4 per sf to $6.50 per sf. Ben Luedtke with Dallas-based Mohr Partners represented the tenant.
