In Dana Point, Core was awarded the management assignment for the 269,961-sf Monarch Bay Plaza at Pacific Coast Highway and Crown Valley Parkway. The newly remodeled shopping center is owned by The William J. Cagney Trust and is anchored by Gelson's, Sav-on and Salt Creek Grill. In Ventura, where Coreland recently opened a new office, the company's new management assignment is for the 265,000-sf Riviera Shopping Center at Telephone Road and Eastman Avenue. The community center is owned by Maad Okko Ltd. of Laguna Hills and is anchored by Mervyn's, Burlington Coat Factory, Chuck E. Cheese and Mann's Theatre. Also in Valencia, Coreland was awarded the management assignment for Cinema Park Shopping Center, a 32,400-sf specialty retail venue at 23300 Cinema Dr., owned by a private investor, that is anchored by Chorus Line and Stone Fire Grill. In Huntington Beach, the new contract is for the 305,000-sf the Plaza at the southwest corner of Beach Boulevard and Warner Avenue, which was acquired recently by 3D Investments of Beverly Hills. The property is a 15-story, 205,000-sf office tower with approximately 100,000 additional sf of retail buildings. The Plaza's leasing team will consist of Coreland's Steven Hogberg and Matt Hammond, who report that several full floors of the office building are available. The retail portion of the property is anchored by Bally's Health Club and Regal Cinemas.
