The company plans to shift the Broadband Communications Products Group headquarters, which is currently housed at 875 and 999 Research Parkway in Meriden, by September or October. C-COR is a provider of broadband communications transport products, software systems and technical services.

David Barnes and Jennifer Rancourt of CB Richard Ellis-NE Partners of Hartford represented C-COR, which also operates as C-COR.net, in the transaction. CBRE officials say the deal will allow the company to consolidate their operations into one building.

CB Richard Ellis also brokered a 45,000-sf lease with software firm Open Solutions for 45,000 sf of space at 455 Winding Brook Dr. in the Salmon Brook Park in Glastonbury. Currently, Open Solutions has leased operations at 100 Western Blvd. and 300 Winding Brook Dr. in the park. The deal will allow the company to consolidate operations into one building as well as allow for future growth. Barnes, Rancourt and Randy Koladis of CB Richard Ellis-NE Partners represented the tenant as well as the building owner, PRA Development.

The brokerage firm also represented Banknorth Insurance Group in its relocation deal from 225 Spring St. in Wethersfield to 20,000 sf of space at the Putnam Park building in Wethersfield. Barnes and Rancourt represented the building owner, 100 Great Meadow Road Associates, LLC. Banknorth Insurance is scheduled to relocate its operations to the third floor of the 158,000-sf building in the near future.
