The entire hospital project, including an outpatient clinic, an office building and covered parking, is estimated to cost $458 million. Of that, the hospital itself will cost $250 million.
Earlier this year, the hospital sold $275 million in bonds to help finance the hospital. So far, the hospital has raised more than $125 million of its $250 million fund-raising goal In addition to the Boettcher grant, the hospital has $55 million in pledges from the hospital board.
Hospital foundation board members and related foundations have made more than $30 million in pledges in three separate donations. As a result of the donation, the hospital will name its new atrium after it.
