The Red Bank-based Kalian is calling its latest project Carriage Park. The company plans to initiate pre-development sales later this year for the combination of one- and two-bedroom units in 14 different floor plans. The cost of developing the community has not been released. Initial occupancy is expected to occur in about a year.
"We've been fortunate to obtain a spectacular site in a private setting close to a number of amenities for active adults," says Alton Evans, vice president of sales and marketing for Kalian. He notes that the property is located about six miles from Downtown Princeton and less than five miles from the business district of Trenton, the state capital.
On-site amenities will include a 6,200-sf clubhouse facility, a fitness center and a variety of recreational features. The location itself is within a community with a substantial number of Revolutionary War-era homes.
Besides Carriage Park, Kalian is also in the process of developing Encore Monroe, an active adult community being done as a joint venture with WCI Spectrum Communities LLC in Middlesex County's Monroe Township. The company is also getting ready to roll out a 48-condo project on the Raritan Bay waterfront in Keansburg, Monmouth County.
