A Chapter 11 bankruptcy typically allows a company to accept or reject leases. A number of tenants already have left the third floor of the Pavilions, which opened in November 1998. However, despite the departures of Café Odyssey, Sevilla, Margarita Mama's Banana Joe's and Lefty Cabo Cantina, the mall remains 95% leased.

Indeed, Lucky Strikes, a trendy bowling alley, will be taking space on the third floor. Sevilla, a steakhouse and Latin-based music dance club, was faring well until it expanded into a poor location off the Strip in Las Vegas, causing it to fail. And Café Odyssey was part of a national shutdown of its "entertainment" restaurants, while the owner of Margarita Mama's Banana Joe's and Lefty Cabo Cantina ended up vacating a number of retail centers across the country, owing developers money.

Antoine du Chez plans to close its store by Sept. 1. It plans to move its 31-year-old Cherry Creek North salon into the new Clayton Lane development next to the new JW Marriott on the former Sears parking lot in Cherry Creek North. That upscale development is being developed by Randy Nichols of Denver.
