Jim Crews tells GlobeSt.com that he's taking the lead on the Las Vegas, Tucson and Albuquerque turf as a director with C&W's veteran team of senior director Todd Braun, directors Paul Gross and Brett Polachek and associate Kelly Carnes. A month ago, Crews made an amicable split as executive vice president of acquisitions and asset management for Phoenix-based Windsor Capital. He says Windsor was winding down acquisitions and dispositions so the timing was right for the move to C&W, which had discussed on and off for a couple years.
Instead of working for one owner, Crews is working the field for listings and buyers of multifamily properties with 100 or more units. "This is my first brokerage job," the 15-year multi-housing professional says. "I was looking for the right fit."
In the last decade, Crews participated in closing more than $500 million of real estate transactions, all multifamily. Prior to Windsor, he was Western regional manager of acquisitions and dispositions for United Dominion Realty Trust Inc. of Highlands Ranch, CO.
