ORLANDO-The transaction is slightly less than the initial purchase agreement reported by GlobeSt.com on July 21, but the acquisition of 26 medical office buildings totaling 1.3 million sf in nine states solidifies the locally based REIT's position as one of the largest owners/operators of seniors housing and medical office facilities in the US.
