"It all just worked out," Dan Lawson, marketing director for Dallas-based Proterra Properties, tells GlobeSt.com. "KidKraft got what they needed and Inside Out got what they needed. Everyone wanted something and they wanted it quick."
The shuffle ended with KidKraft Inc. in control of a 110,000-sf building at 4600 Olin Rd. in Farmers Branch, where it leased 50,250 sf in May 2003 for the long term with a first right of refusal on the balance. Bryan Lurie of RMB Investments in Dallas represented KidKraft, a children's furniture manufacturer now adding extra storage space for the holiday season.
Inside Out Shop headed to 12003 Corporate Dr. in Dallas, signing a five-year lease for industrial space closer to its warehouse and stores in the northeast submarket, Lawson says. Jim Duggan of Duggan Realty Advisors in Dallas was the tenant's representative.
