Wyndham will sell the 250-room Wyndham Peachtree Hotel & Conference Center in Peachtree City, GA; 242-room Wyndham Lisle in Lisle, IL; 408-room Wyndham Miami in the airport submarket; and 311-room Wyndham Colorado Springs in Colorado.
Working through an ongoing disposition program, the Dallas-based Wyndham, has sold or is zeroing in on closings grossing $499.2 million for 29 hotel properties in the US. Wyndham tagged 32 hotels for sale, of which 19 are Wyndham-branded. "A key component of this strategy is to retain the sold Wyndham-branded assets in our hotel portfolio through new management and franchise agreements with the buyers," Fred J. Kleisner, Wyndham's chairman and CEO, said in a press release issued this morning. Additional details about the upcoming sale will be forthcoming.
