Barton has been with CBRE since 1996. He has participated in leasing and sales transactions totaling 5.1 million sf and has handled a total 170 acres of industrial land deals since 2003. Barton is also a member of CBRE's Special Properties Group.
In his new position as vice president, Parsonnet works with Will Yowell and Jay O'Meara in the firm's office investment group. This division has closed or has under contract office properties in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast valued at $945 million, according to Brett Hunsaker, senior managing director in CBRE's local office.
Hunsaker says Barton and Parsonnet were promoted because of "their ability to win business and service clients," factors that are expanding the company's metro area operation. CB Richard Ellis Inc. is based in Los Angeles.
