SFBC Taylor is relocating to 330 Carter Rd. from its existing site at the nearby College Park business campus. The company offers quantitative bioanalytical mass spectrometry services relating to drug development by the pharmaceutical industry. Formerly a privately held firm called Taylor Technology, the company was acquired in early summer by Miami-based SFBC International.
"We have already begun our renovations of 330 Carter Rd, and look forward to beginning Taylor's fit-out, which will be completed by April 2005," says Christopher J. Locatell, vice president of Berwind Property Group.
The Technology Center itself, a three-building, 300,000-sf corporate campus, was acquired earlier this year by Berwind on behalf of its BPG Investment Partnership VI LP. The firm has launched a $29 million renovation program on the existing buildings, and the 355-acre site can accommodate another 500,000 sf of development, according to Locatell.
