In a separate transaction in Visalia, the Charles Dunn Co. reports that Parr-Bohn Redwood Ltd. bought two retail buildings totaling 43,168 sf for approximately $9.2 million. The properties are part of Phase II on the Westside of the newly developed Packwood Creek. One is a PetsMart retail building of 19,368 sf at 4240 S. Mooney Blvd., the other a 23,800-sf Michael's building at 4248 S. Mooney Blvd.
Chris Tramontano, Bradford Leach and Tanel Harunzade in Dunn's West Los Angeles office represented the buyer, with seller DBO Development Co. represented by Jason O. Lind and Kenneth E. Scott of SW Realty. The regional retail center is located in the heart of Visalia's main street, notes Tramontano. The first phase of the center, which opened in November, includes anchors such as Target Greatland, Lowes and Best Buy. The second phase, which is slated to open late 2004 or early 2005, is scheduled to include Sports Chalet, PetsMart, Petco, Michael's, Cost Plus, Pier 1 Imports, Linens 'N Things, Anna's Linens, David's Bridal and more.
