In another office lease, Kintetsu International, one of the world's largest Japanese-owned travel service organizations, signed a 10-year, nearly $3.6 million deal for 18,000 sf in the 12-story Pacific Pointe Tower in Gardena for consolidation of its U. S. headquarters, according to Michael Lee the Downtown Los Angeles office of GVA Daum. The new Kintetsu headquarters is at 879 W. 190th St. Lee represented the tenant, with the landlord, Younan Properties, represented by Bill Maher, Philip Mattice and Chris Sinfield of the South Bay office of Grubb & Ellis. The new office combines Kintetsu's Downtown Los Angeles and Cerritos offices with the relocation to Gardena, where approximately workers will be employed.
