Steelcase occupies the remaining space at what is the largest building in the nearly 1.2-million-sf first phase. At build-out, the 400-acre master planned industrial center near the intersection of the 60 and 57 freeways will comprise nearly 6.5 million sf of space. Founded in 1946, Standard Furniture manufactures bedroom, dining and occasional furniture including a line under the Kathy Ireland brand for sale through department stores and independent retailers throughout the United States.
Dodson comments that housing construction-related companies such as manufacturers of furniture, appliance and flooring "are riding the wave of the strong housing market in California and are looking for more warehouse and distribution space in key industrial markets."
