The Folsom-based company says the move into Southern California is part of continued growth since the firm, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mercury Companies Inc. of Denver, was founded in 1995. Bruce Maita, CEO and president of FTC, describes the expansion into Southern California as "part of a strategic plan that will enable Financial Title to offer its services in all parts of the state." FTC has more than 60 operations in Northern California.

DiChiacchio has more than 24 years of experience in the title industry.Before joining FTC, he was EVP of Gateway Title Co. Besides DiChiacchio, FTC's Southern California executives include Bertha Barraclough, EVP; and Carol Knudsen, VP of technology, who also came from Gateway Title.
