Konas, a senior vice president at locally based Carter, will hold the same title in Post's construction and development division in Atlanta. Howle, a senior development manager at JPI's Mid-Atlanta regional office, becomes executive vice president and regional investment director for Post's Washington, DC and New York markets.
Tom Senkbeil, Post's executive vice president and chief investment officer, calls Howle and Konas "two seasoned real estate executives." He says the new additions will strengthen the Investment Group. "We now have experienced local talent in our three principal regions," he says.
Howle has 14 years of residential real estate experience and has completed six years of training as an architect. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor of arts degree in architecture and an masters of science degree in real estate development from Columbia University.
Konas has more than 20 years of experience in development and construction. He has been involved in at least 30 projects totaling over 12 million sf. At Carter, Konas oversaw a variety of mixed-use and heavy-frame commercial projects. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a bachelor of science degree in engineering.
