Joining the team as project manager is James Reed, who previously held executive positions at Harvard Realty Corp., NAI Stoneleigh Huff Brous McDowell, the former Haldeman Powell + Partners, F. Brown & Associates and St. Paul Medical Center. Reed, who's developed nearly $1 billion of projects totaling 6.4 million sf, will lead development and construction of Dallas-based projects along with Peter J. Meyer, the principal in Texas.
"Reed's ability to manage large-scale commercial real estate is a rare find," Meyer says in a press release. "We are confident that Reed's strengths in design and project management, contractor/vendor selection and negotiation and construction administration will prove to be a valuable asset in Shea Commercial's continued expansion." The Scottsdale, AZ-based Shea Commercial, with a handful of projects underway in Dallas/Fort Worth, has developed more than two million sf of office condo product in four states.
