FORT WORTH-A Sundance Square tenant, with visions of Sugarplums, today opens doors on a third shop in the last open spot of the 375,819-sf historic heart of Fort Worth's CBD. The 1,100-sf Sugarplums Old Fashioned Gift Shoppe will remain open through January 2005.
Rebecca Avant, owner of two giftware and accessories stores, has set up shop at 310 Main St. beside her 750-sf Mayfair. The inventory, taking a cue from yesteryear, includes of cards, candies, artisan holiday decor, European-style collectible ornaments and gifts."Sugarplums will complete the holiday experience of Sundance Square," says Johnny Campbell, CEO of Sundance Square Management Inc., citing the festively decorated city streets that will transform Sundance Square into "a holiday wonderland that mirrors those in the movies." The 20-block CBD hotspot for tourists and locals is fully leased with the deal...and the five-year Sundance Square tenant is continuing talks to make the shop a permanent fixture like Mayfair and its sister, Mayfair on the Boulevard along Camp Bowie Road.
