Hamp made the announcements during a celebration to mark the 75th anniversary of Henry Ford Museum. "This campaign will help give us the financial resources to fulfill our mission and realize our vision," Hamp says. "As we put the finishing touches on the Greenfield Village restoration project, we will turn our attention to Henry Ford Museum."
"The Inspiration Project: the Campaign to Transform the Henry Ford" will support and improve existing infrastructure as well has help build new exhibits and establish new programming. To date, nearly $115million has already been raised.
Among the projects awaiting work at Greenfield Village are upgrades and renovations to the:
- pottery production facility
- glass and ceramics gallery
- expanded glass production facility
- soybean laboratory
- McGuffey birthplace restoration
- Sir John Bennett restoration
