LANGHORNE, PA-McCaffrey Management Inc. renewed its 34,381-sf lease at 2000 Cabot Blvd. West. The gourmet caterer and owner of three upscale McCaffrey Supermarkets in this region houses its headquarters, administration offices and commissary here.
The aggregate rental of the multi-year lease extension exceeds $1 million, according to Peter O. Schultz Jr., senior leasing director for the Exton, PA-based east region of First Industrial Realty Trust, which owns the building. Peter Wierzel, a senior leasing and marketing manager with First Industrial, negotiated the transaction.
McCaffrey moved into the building in 2000, and the renewal continues into the later years of this decade, Wierzel says. Earle M. Jorgensen Co., one of the largest independent steel distributors in the US, occupies the building's remaining 27,162 sf.
McCaffrey operates supermarkets in Yardley, PA and Princeton and West Windsor, NJ. This February, its Yardley flagship suffered a devastating fire, and McCaffrey opened in a 10,000-sf tent adjacent to the store, which remains in operation until the flagship is rebuilt.
