Located in the city's northeast section at 77 K St., Capitol City Plaza will occupy a spot in the District's NoMa Corridor, a section north of Massachusetts Ave. that is surrounded by the new Washington Convention Center, Union Station and New York Ave.
The area had long been home to vacant parcels and industrial structures before a recent spurt of development activity. "This building represents a great opportunity for an organization that wants close proximity to the US Capitol and Downtown Washington, DC," Connolly says.
