"Blue Cross Blue Shield's location criteria were a match for the building's strengths." Blue Cross is headquartered in Boston at Landmark Center, and leases extensively on the South shore.
Meredith & Grew has been the exclusive leasing agent for Blue Cross since the late 1990's and its president, Thomas J. Hynes, Jr., executive vice president James L. Elcock, and vice president Kristin E. Blount represented Blue Cross in this transaction. Andrew Majewski, executive vice president of CB Richard Ellis Whittier Partners and Stacey Baker, vice president of Boston Properties, represented the landlord. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
Newport Office Park is a six-story, 170,000-sf, first-class building which overlooks the Neponset River. Aviva Life Insurance is its primary tenant with approximately 75,000 sf and 35,000 sf are currently available.
