Penrose retired from Northern Trust Corp. in 2000 after 23 years, serving as president of corporate and institutional services and as a member of the management committee. In addition to being an independent director on the Jones Lang LaSalle board, Penrose is executive advisor to the Boston Consulting Group as well as serving on the boards of eFunds Corp. and Datacard Group.
