Ken Wesson, who got the promotion just as he earned his SIOR designation, tells GlobeSt.com that the plan "is to begin to grow each of our respective areas, starting with the Dallas operation." He says the 12-month plan is to add "one or two more (brokers) to step up to leadership roles" for the Dallas-based Bradford Cos.' 14-broker team.

Wesson, a seven-year employee, is taking the industrial reins from company president, Kevin Santaularia. Wesson, continuing as managing director for the Stemmons Corridor operation, says the EVP's seat has been empty for a couple years.

In recent years, Wesson closed more than 300 transactions exceeding $80 million. He's a four-time recipient of the firm's top producer award. Wesson's black book is laced with heavy hitters from the institutional ranks, including Invesco, Olympus Realty, Rreef and the "who's who" of the life insurance funds.
