OdysseyRe will remain in its fifth, sixth and seventh floor space through 2022, according to Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of W&M Properties. The short-term swing space will be used to accommodate employees that have to be relocated while the firm's existing space is refurbished.
"First Stamford Place offers top-of-the-line amenities and services that are valuable to our business and our employees," comments Charlie Troiano, chief financial officer of OdysseyRe, an underwriter of property and casualty treaty, program and facultative reinsurance and specialty insurance.
W&M's Newman was assisted by senior leasing associate Kathleen A. Caracappa in representing the building owner. The tenant was represented by CB Richard Ellis' Linda Dow, executive vice president; Patrick Murphy, executive managing director; and Dean Shapiro, senior managing director.
First Stamford Place is a three-building, 810,000-sf multi-tenanted office complex, located adjacent to the Stamford Transportation Center.
