That may be because Coors Field, where the Rockies play, is walking distance from the Pepsi Center, where the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche play. And Invesco Field, where the Denver Broncos play, is less than a five-minute drive from Downtown.

And 51% of the respondents say that the variety of Downtown's events and entertainment options are superior to any other city in the US they have visited. Retail, however, doesn't fare as well; 66% of the respondents say the variety of retail in Downtown is worse than in other cities.

Additionally, when asked to identify the most important problems facing Downtown, respondents overwhelmingly identified homelessness, street people, vagrants and street youth as the top concerns. Forty three percent believe the presence of homeless individuals andpanhandlers in Downtown is worse than in other major cities. "This further emphasizes the importance of the BID's efforts--alongside many other community organization--to address this continuing problem," according to Joseph D. Vostrejs, BID chair and general manager of Larimer Square, the historic shopping center Downtown.
