James S. Vanderslice, president of GLV Realty, says the review process has begun for locations in Florida and the West Coast. Just recently, an identical decision drove a renewal for a 10,000-sf office in Madrid. Last year, renewals came due in Singapore, Tokyo and Dallas, with the homeport rolling in a below-market expansion.
Pegasus Solutions, based in Dallas, renewed the one-year contract with GLV Realty after Vanderslice made a presentation that showed the first-year cost savings with a system implemented in the past year. "They've now got a sophisticated, comprehensive database to make decisions," he says of a high-tech, visual system that allows office tours without a plane ticket.
