PIDA provided a $271,110 loan to Bucks County Economic Development Corp. to acquire and renovate a 4,131-sf office condo in Chalfont, PA. Lookfirst.net LLC, a local real estate holding company, will then purchase and manage the building on Highpoint Drive, which is expected to house five tenants.

With a PIDA loan of just under $1.2 million, Charles E. Crowe & Sons Inc. will acquire and refurbish a 206,749-sf building on Zeager Rd. in Elizabethtown in Lancaster County. The distributor of food products for the dairy and chocolate industries will relocate to the new facility from its current operations approximately a mile away.

Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms Inc. will use a $512,000 PIDA loan to acquire and renovate a 35,860-sf building on Darrell Rd. in Philadelphia. With this expansion, the maker of school uniforms will create an additional 22 jobs.

Fulmer Co. LLC received a $408,120 PIDA loan to buy a 39,272-sf facility in Westmoreland County Industrial Park III in Export, PA. It is the largest domestic manufacturer of electric motor brush holders.

Meanwhile, Pendu Mfg. will use the DCED funding to acquire the former Cornell Industrial Corp.'s assets, including its 79,000-sf manufacturing facility in Tuscarora Twp. Pendu will use the facility to continue to manufacture the Cornell equipment product line and expand production of its own line of wood products, which includes pallets, components for log homes and dimensional lumber.
