Kaufman will continue to manage Brookside Court which is 64% leased at average asking base rents starting at $15 per sf. Atlanta-based Roberts Commercial Real Estate Services was the previous leasing agent for the two-story building. Officials at Roberts couldn't be reached by GlobeSt.com's publication deadline.

"We changed leasing agents because we thought the Richard Bowers & Co. team could put new energy into Brookside Court," Craig Kaufman, president, Kaufman Realty Group. "Currently, the significant amount of available space in the Alpharetta office market requires aggressive marketing tactics and great service."Brokers Grahame Wood and Michael Howell of Richard Bowers & Co. will handle leasing duties at the property. "Both Grahame and Michael are hungry professionals that apply all the marketing tools, including old-fashioned cold calling, to help us reach our goals and best service the needs of our current and future tenants," Kaufman adds."

His company manages 11 properties in metro Atlanta in addition to its office holdings in Charlotte, NC, Denver and Orlando. Kaufman developed and opened Brookside Court in 2000. "The building is perfectly suited to our core client-type, which is the small to medium-size tenant," Kaufman says.

According to research data from Richard Bowers & Co., the GA 400-North submarket is the fourth largest in the Atlanta region with nearly 14.3 million sf of office space. The submarket's occupancy rate is the third lowest of the 16 submarkets tracked by Bowers at 77.4%. Average asking base rents in this submarket are $18.94 per sf compared to the $20.24 per-sf average for the entire Atlanta region.
