A Beverly Hills-based buyer doing business as PDP LLC bought the Copperwood property, which is at 11838 Central Ave., from Village Crossing LLC of Irvine in a transaction brokered by Brian Hawkins and Peter Hauser of the Newport Beach office of Hendricks & Partners. The property was recently renovated and consists primarily of two-bedroom units.
The Orange County transactions included the $2.5-million sale of the Las Estrellas Apartments at 13931 Newland St. in Westminster and the $1.9-million sale of 18 units at 12571 and 12581 Shelley Dr. in Garden Grove. The Kurata Trust bought the Westminster property from Aynem Investments in a transaction brokered by Joseph Berkson of Marcus & Millichap, who represented the buyer and the seller, who had owned the property since 1980. A private investor bought the Garden Grove complex, which the seller, an individual investor, had owned since 1996. Berkson represented the seller, with Shane McConnell of Marcus & Millichap representing the buyer.
