McFarland comes to Alvarez & Marsal from Trammell Crow Co. where he also was a managing director. His previous executive positions were with Jones Lang LaSalle and Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal. McFarland specializes in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development and construction management, real estate capital market strategy and legal structures.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in architecture from Georgia Tech; a masters in business administration degree from the University of Virginia; and a law degree from Georgia State University.
