Scientific and medical journal publisher Cadmus Journal Services has already committed to about 65,000 sf in the larger building, while Signs by Tomorrow has agreed to acquire the other building in its entirety, the 32,800-sf structure, and will make its home in half of the space.
"Besides the fact that both buildings have substantial pre-leasing, now is a good time to build because the market has tightened," says Cole Schnorf, Manekin senior vice president/director of development. "Most of the sublet space has been absorbed, and the vacancy has dropped to just above 10%." The structures are expected to reach completion in July and June of next year, respectively.
