A 60,600-sf building situated on a nearly three-acre parcel at 467 Herndon Parkway, just four miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, Hawthorn Suites opened its doors in October 1999. The four-story, extended-stay hotel came under its current ownership in December 2003 through a $9.1 million transaction.
According to Fairfax County records, the property has an assessed value of $8.4 million for the 2004 tax year. As per GMACCM officials, the easy facilitation of the loan had a great deal to do with the fact that the borrower's leadership has led to the stabilization of the property.
