SAIC decided to take on more space in Harford County--the company occupied 90,000 sf of flex/office space at the Box Hill Corporate Center in Abingdon since 2002--after winning a new contract with the US Department of Defense. SAIC will house 150 new employees in the Lakeside digs. The terms of the tenant's lease agreement with property owner FRP Development Corp. have not been disclosed.
"SAIC is a valued customer," says J. Thomas Sadowski, director of the Harford County Department of Economic Development. "This is further proof Harford County offers technology firms the right environment to pursue and secure these valuable contracting opportunities."
