"It's a niche that no one on the industrial sales team had been concentrating on in investment sales," Josh McArtor, TCC's new vice president, tells GlobeSt.com. He will partner on sales with principal Scott Krekorian, who's been handling dispositions while heading up industrial leasing for the firm's institutional clients.
According to McArtor, Krikorian sold 2.3 million sf of industrial product last year in Dallas/Fort Worth. The going-forward plan calls for McArtor to solo as he builds a package of sales listings. He says he expects to have a portfolio on the market by the first quarter's end. "I will be calling and aggressively marketing the new platform," he says.
McArtor had been manager of the analytical team for the capital markets group. To backfill the three-member team, TCC hired Jim Bernard as an associate. He previously worked for Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc., Sarofim Realty Advisors and Lend Lease.
