ENAP, which was formed by six lumber dealers in 1967 to buy roofing products more competitively, is presently based at 121 Executive Dr. The 37-year-old company, which currently has 440 ship-to-locations, will move into its new headquarters space in the summer of 2005 and will occupy the building's second floor, First Columbia officials say. Bob Scherreik of McBride Corporate Real Estate of Harriman was the broker.
"Keeping these jobs in the town is significant, especially when ENAP expects to grow considerably," says First Columbia VP Chris Bette. First Columbia officials say that site work has begun on the 555 Hudson Valley Ave. building. Bette says his firm is currently looking to secure tenants for the building's first floor.
Businesses based at New York International Plaza include LSI/ Lightron Inc., Mid-Hudson Family Health, Westchester Cardiology, Hudson Valley Imaging, Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp., Empire State Development, Oxy-Vita, American Petroleum, McGoey and Hauser & Edsall.
The 260-acre master-planned corporate campus features more than two million sf of integrated facilities. In addition to office space, the plaza is approved for research and development facilities, hotel and convention space and a data center.
