Umansky represented the seller, Minden, NV-based Rancho Plaza LLC, with the buyer was represented by Caceres & Caceres Real Estate Investments of Morgan Hill. The property was built in 1979 and is occupied by tenants including Radio Shack, Ritz Camera and H&R Block.
In the Victorville transaction, a private investor from Diamond Bar acquired a 103-room Howard Johnson Express Inn at 16868 Stoddard Wells Road near Interstate 15. Manoj Shah of Sperry Van Ness in Ontario represented both the buyer and the seller, a Victorville-based private investor. Built in 1989, the four-building inn is situated on 5.9 acres. The property features a pool and strong freeway visibility with adjoining truck and bus parking which provides truckers and tour bus travelers. Shah notes that the deal was a 1031 exchange for the buyer.
