Woodhaven Country Club, the centerpiece of one of the desert's firstmaster-planned residential communities, is located on 120 acres at 41-555Woodhaven Drive, approximately two miles south of Interstate 10 off theWashington Street exit. The country club features a par 70, 18-holecourse. Other amenities include a 34,000-sf clubhouse, a driving range and practice area, eight lighted tennis courts, a swimming pool and an exercise room. The course was designed by golf course architect Harold Heers Jr. and was opened in 1984.
Paradigm will be responsible for the membership marketing, management and daily operations of Woodhaven, according to Paradigm Pacific CEO Michael E. Abee. Paradigm for the past 12 years has focused on developing, acquiring, marketing and managing public and private golf and country clubs throughout the United States, focusing on acquiring under-performing daily fee or semi-private golf facilities.
