CONSHOHOCKEN, PA-Locally based Fameco Real Estate named Edward Peple III president. Peple is the former president and CEO of Ashburn, VA-based ChainLinks Retail Advisors Inc., a network of locally owned retail real estate specialists, which are shareholders in ChainLinks.

Fameco is the only ChainLinks member shareholder in the Delaware Valley. ChainLinks, comprised of 60 regional brokerage firms in the US and Canada, is the country's largest retail-only real estate provider, and Peple is widely credited with its reaching that status.

"We sought [Peple] out because of his proven ability to effectively determine priorities, manage resources, and develop and execute strategic growth plans that deliver exponential growth in both revenues and profitability." Brandon Famous, Fameco's founding partner and CEO, says. Fameco has tripled in size in the past three years and plans further expansion with Peple at its helm.

Peple said he's observed Fameco's growth. "When a firm is hot, it requires the leadership and expertise of an experienced top executive whose sole responsibility is to position the company for continued and steady growth," he says in a statement. Peple began his career with Arthur Anderson & Co. and later went on, at the age of 25, to become the youngest manager worldwide for Coopers & Lybrand.
